UNITY

If you're aged 16-25 and interested in celebrating the culture of Bristol, then we want to hear from you.

UNITY leads on from the ACI project. The aim of UNITY is to promote cultural understanding and to celebrate the diversity that exists across the city.

We want young volunteers to help us create a vibrant range of projects that benefit the local community, from children to elders.  You could be a local activist, aspiring photographer, film maker, web designer, musician, performer or just passionate about making a difference in your community.

UNITY is all about celebrating what's at the heart of Bristol's communities, and we can only do this by working together with local groups and local people.

How we work...

Media projects - celebrating local culture, people and events as well as giving a voice to young people in the area.

Art shows - exploring the wide range of communities in Bristol, encouraging mutual understanding and respect along with an increased sense of belonging for all communities, both new and established.

Peer education skills - becoming a peer educator means that you can make a difference in your community by supporting young people to achieve their potential.  You'll be fully trained and supported by the UNITY team, gain new skills and have fun!

If you're interested in becoming a part of UNITY, please contact Ina or Stephanie.
